Mr. Rodrigo Roa Duterte
President of the Republic of the Philippines
Malacañang Palace

Good day Mr. President,

Sir, I am truly grateful and honored to have the privelege to write a simple letter for you. As a high school student, I saw how you won overwhelmingly over your rivals. Your victory had become the source of golden oppurtunities for the Filipino citizens.

As time passes by, you were able to implement numerous programs that provided more access to the poor. And more importantly, sir, you have enforced a war against illegal drug that has resulted  to many life killings that were able to destroy dreams.  Mr. President I am in full support of your goal to eradicate this drug problem here in our country but as a concerned citizen, I am slowly noticing  that most of the victims are the poor people whom you had promised to help and protect from poverty. Sir, during your State of the Nation Address, you became our new source of strength and hope for promise that change is coming. May this change that you are talking about can give numerous benefits to our society.

Like everyone's hope and desire, I want that Filipinos must live in a nation where there is peace and where there is a slowly but living progress. I really hope that you can continue poviding services and  programs that can contribute to our country's progress.

Hand in hand together, may we enclasp unity, firmness and a progressive country. Thank you and God bless Mr. President.

Sincerely yours,
Median Bernice D. Quintua
